Nissan Fd35 – Interstar Dci Q94 (hbs) engine for sale, The FD35 is part of the Nissan FD engine family, a line of inline-4 diesel engines designed by Nissan for commercial-vehicle use (trucks, vans, light commercial vehicles).

It has a displacement of approximately 3.5 litres (≈ 3,465 cc).

The engine uses a water-cooled, inline 4-cylinder layout, with direct fuel injection (unlike the older swirl-chamber “ED” engines) — making it more efficient and better suited to diesel load work.

Power output is around 105 PS (≈ 77 kW) at ~ 3,500 rpm (for naturally aspirated FD35).

There was also a turbo-version: the “FD35T,” which offers higher output for heavier duty tasks.

The FD-series engines (including FD35) were built for durability, torque and reliability — suitable for trucks and vans used in demanding commercial applications (hauling, goods transport, etc.).

Because of its robust design and simple construction (inline-4, direct injection diesel), the FD35 remains popular among owners of older Nissan commercial vehicles and for engine swaps/remanufacturing in markets where parts availability remains reasonable.
